Advanced Treatment
The advanced treatment process consists of advanced filtration of the water. This treatment step removes total dissolved solids, pathogens, and other pollutants in the water. This process will also be paired with granular activated carbon (GAC) to ensure the best quailty of water.
Advanced Treatment Alternatives
The advanced filtrations alternatives that were consider were FlimTec BW Pro-400/34 element, DuPont Ultrafiltration Capabilities, and NF-400 Industrial Nanofiltration Systems.

Advanced Treatment Scoring Criteria
Each alternative for advanced filtration was given a score from one to three. One being the least suitable alternative and three being the most suitable from the given criteria. The following table provides how each criteria was scored with the reasoning. It also provides the reasoning for the weighting of each criterion.

Advanced Treatment Decision Matrix
Using the scoring criteria for advanced treatment, the decision matrix for advanced filtration process was created to find the most suitable alternative for the treatment train. The decision matrix below is a simplified decision matrix, you can find the complete matrix in the final report, Appendix U: Scoring, Weighting, and Decision Matrix for Advanced Treatment .
